Many people are debating lately, whether coffee happens to be good or bad for your health. Many people are under the impression that coffee has a negative impact on health but new research indicated that 1 or 2 daily cups of “Joe” can have a positive impact on overall health. Of course research also shows that excessive consumption of coffee can have a harmful impact on overall health. Drinking as few as three to four cups daily can be considered excessive. It has been found that both caffeinated and decaffeinated coffee have a light laxative effect that can stop constipation. Due to this laxative effects, many think that coffee drinking and decrease the risk for colon cancer. But, people that are heavy coffee drinkers tend to have loose bowels. If this is the truth, then drinking coffee in moderation will change this.

In conclusion, drinking coffee in moderation may be beneficial to your health. But, those people that are into drinking a lot of coffee should take note that there are bad health effects that could rise out of taking in too much caffeine. Moderation is the key to getting a healthy balance.
